Export Truth Records

This task will export records from the truth table (as seen on the 'Data' tab) to an XML file.

The truth table is used by Zynk to map the ID numbers of records imported using Zynk between two systems. The 'Internal ID' is usually the ID of the record in Sage, and the external ID is the ID of the matching record from an external system such as a website or e-commerce platform.

Settings

Date Created

Required
The date used when exporting new records. Only records created since this date will appear in the output file. The date will automatically update each time the task runs, to the highest created date among the records exported.

Date Modified

Required
The date used when exporting modified records. Only records modified since this date will appear in the output file. The date will automatically update each time the task runs, to the highest modified date among the records exported.

Export

Required
Choose which records should be exported. The available options are:

  • All - Will export all records.
  • New - Will only export records where the created date is greater than the value shown in the 'Date Created' setting.
  • Modified - Will only export records where the modified date is greater than the value shown in the 'Date Modified' setting.

Output File

Required
The XML file to output the truth records to.

Output Type

Required
Choose the amount of detail the task should output for each record. The following options are available:

  • Simple - Only outputs the most important information: InternalId, ExternalId, Type and Collection
  • Detailed - Outputs all information. This is the default option.

Default Collection

Optional
Filters the export by collection. This field represents additional information the truth record can be categorised by. For example, sales orders from Sage 200 use this field to differentiate between the different order types, i.e. orders, returns, proformas and quotes. However, for most systems this field is not utilised.

Default Type

Optional
Filters the export by type. This field represents both the system and type of data the truth record relates to. Defaults to Zynk.Connect.Objects.Contact.

Workflow ID

Optional
Filters the export by workflow ID. You can view the ID of a workflow from the 'Properties' tab, under 'Workflow Settings'. If left blank, the task will output truth records for the workflow it appears in.
