Export Orders from Linnworks

The Export Orders task in the Linnworks Connector for Zynk Workflow allows you to export a list of orders from Linnworks that require further processing or handling.

This article guides you through how to use this task.

Exporting Data

One of the key differences between this task and the Export Open Orders and Export Processed Orders tasks is that it supports date-based filtering. This can provide a significant speed improvement compared to the other tasks when there are a large number of orders within Linnworks. Please refer to the Export Type setting for more details on how the date filtering works.

Settings

Connection

Required
The Linnworks connection you would like to use for this task.

Output File

Required
Specifies the file where the exported data will be saved. The file format and location can be customized based on your workflow requirements.

Created Date

Required
The date to filter on when the Export Type setting is 'New'. The value will update automatically each time the task runs, to ensure the same orders won't be exported again.

Export Type

Required
Determines which records are included in the export:

  • New: Only orders created since the date shown in the Created Date setting will be exported.
  • Modified: Only orders modified since the date shown in the Modified Date setting will be exported. The following changes to an order will count as a modification:
    • Changing the order status
    • Adding new items
    • Receiving or processing the order
    • Adding or updating extended properties
  • All: Export all orders, regardless of when they were created or updated.

External Ids

Optional
Optionally provide a list of external identifiers to export specific records. This is typically used in conjunction with the Export Type setting when set to All.

Internal Ids

Optional
Similar to External IDs but allows you to specify internal identifiers instead. Use this to target specific records using Linnworks’ internal identifiers.

Location

Optional
Select one of the warehouse location options to filter your Linnworks data by location.

Modified Date

Required
The date to filter on when the Export Type setting is 'Modified'. The value will update automatically each time the task runs, to ensure the same orders won't be exported again.

Order Type

Required
Filter the orders returned by type. You can select one of the following options:

  • All
  • Open
  • Processed
