Connecting to DHL Express

All of the tasks in the DHL Express connector require a connection to your DHL Express account, so you will need to create a connection with the type 'DHL Express'. See Connections for instructions on creating a new connection. You will see a screen like the one below, requesting your DHL Express details:

Enter your DHL Express details as described below, then click 'Finish' to create the connection.

Settings

API Username

Enter the API username that was provided by DHL Express. Instructions on how to obtain this are provided below.

API Password

Enter the API password that was provided by DHL Express. Instructions on how to obtain this are provided below.

Environment

Required
Select which environment you want to connect to. The following options are available:

  • Production - Connect to the live DHL Express environment. Only select this when you are ready to work with real shipments.
  • Test - Connect to the sandbox environment. Select this option while you are building and testing your integration.

Obtaining API Access

You can obtain API access from DHL Express by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to your DHL Express account via this link.
  2. Your DHL Express API access will be provided.
