Configuring a Yooz Primary Connection
The Primary Connection manages all authentication details necessary to establish a secure link to Yooz, ensuring that a single set of credentials can serve as a master key for connecting to multiple organisations.
Once you have successfully established a Primary Connection, you can proceed with configuring an Organisation Connection.
There are two types of Primary Connection available, so firstly you will need to determine whether to use a 'Zynk Partner' connection or a 'Username and Password' connection. Details about both types of connection can be found below.
Zynk Partner
This type of connection uses Zynk's own partner credentials to authenticate with Yooz. We recommend using this type of connection whenever possible.
To configure a Zynk Partner connection, navigate to the Connections manager in Zynk, click New
to create a new connection, and select the Yooz Primary (Zynk Partner)
connection type. You will see a screen like the one shown below:
Server

Select the server that your instance of Yooz is hosted on. If your server is not listed, you will have to use the Username/Password connection type instead.
Application ID

Your Yooz application ID. While logged into Yooz, you can copy your application ID to the clipboard by holding Ctrl and left-clicking your mouse on the Yooz logo. Alternatively, hovering your mouse over the Yooz logo will reveal your application ID.
Username and Password
This type of connection uses your username and password to authenticate with Yooz.
To configure a Username and Password connection, navigate to the Connections manager in Zynk, click New
to create a new connection, and select the Yooz Primary (Username/Password)
type.

The initial part of the URL you use to access Yooz, e.g., https://eu1.getyooz.com/
.
Application ID
Required
Your Application ID. While logged into Yooz, you can copy your application ID to the clipboard by holding Ctrl and left-clicking your mouse on the Yooz logo. Alternatively, hovering your mouse over the Yooz logo will reveal your application ID.
